Stezka korunami stromů Janské Lázně in Giant Mountains – from the roots to the treetops

Under the mountain of Černá hora, close to Jánské Lázně was created unique project – Stezka korunami stromů, that is constructed footpath from the roots to the treetops.

The first similar footpath in Czeck republic was opened in Lipno, the second was built in Dolní Morava and the third is in our biggest mountains Krkonoše. Visitors are able to see panoramic views, but also feel adrenaline and in the same time to learn some more information about forest ecosystem. Footpath leads not only above the ground, but also to the underground cave, where you can find interesting exposition. In the exposition you can study information about microlife of soil, from the roots to the smallest living beings. From here the footpath continues to 45 meters tall tower.

If you are looking for some adventure, there are 3 adrenaline attractions and also the dry slipway. The whole footpath is opened all year and also available for disabled. On the way there are lot of stations where you can learn information about forest of Krkonoše.
Near the footpath Stezka korunami stromů is town Janské Lázně – beautiful spa town with colonnade and mountain features. You can also take cableway to the top of the mountain Černá Hora from here.
